A number of groups were severely affected by the natural disaster which stopped flights for 6 days. We were pleased to be able to get all groups safely home within a week of their original expected return. We would like give a special thanks to the group leaders for ‘going with the flow in the heat of the moment’ and handling some challenging circumstances while Merganser worked to get them home. Our travel agent provided exceptional support, and many groups have commented how supported they felt by Merganser during this time.
